The software requirement study is done by Rensol’s consultant at customer premises. The onsite consultant communicates with the offshore team about the requirement. They use the latest technologies for communication including internet chat , Voip based voice chat and state-of-art net meeting including white board, e-mail, text chat, fax, telephone call etc. For the customer, it is almost like doing the project in front of them. The onsite Rensol’s Team Leader receives the work from customer, assigns the work to the offshore, receives the work from the offshore, checks quality of the delivery before handing the work over to the customer. Certain countries like the U.S. are in very favorable time zone to work with Indian offshore. The work specifications are made during the day time in the US which is then transferred to India by the day end to Rensol’s offshore Indian Team. Rensol offshore team then works during their Indian working hours over it and finally hands it over to Rensol Team Leader at customer’s office when he comes back to office next morning and he in turn hands the work over to Customer’s representatives after checking out quality etc. This allows for continuous work which can potentially reduce the project timeline.
